How to obtain a Symbian Certificate (DevCert)

As we all know opda and other certificate issuing sites are not working any more...and most new users are in Certificate Crisis...xstevedore..not working at the moment and other certificate request threads are locked......

So here i came with this problem's Solution----
The Solution is an italian certificate issuing site...called...NOKIOTECA.NET
Nokioteca is an italian site that offer you DevCerts to sign all your Symbian S60 applications. To obtain your own certificate just follow the simple instructions below. Each logged user may require only one certificate at a time and can send an unlimited number of requests. Each new request can be sent only after obtaining the previous DevCert requested.

    DevCert request procedure

    After registration in

    http://www.nokioteca.net/home/forum/index.php?act=idx

-login and go to your Profile Option . Click on 'Modifica Profilo'

and fill the field 'IMEI cellulare' with your phone IMEI code. To preserve your privacy your IMEI code will be visible only by the staff and you.

    - Add a post in the opened topic entitled 'Richiedi qui il tuo certificato [date]' that you will find here

    http://www.nokioteca.net/home/forum/index.php?showforum=219

and just write this simple text: 'certificate request'. Any other text will be ignored by the staff.

    DevCert download procedure

When topic in which you entered your post has received a big number of requests it will be closed to allow staff to generate the DevCert compatible with all participants' IMEI. Your DevCert file will be available for download as attachment of a new post added in the same thread (the last post).

A new topic with the same procedure will be open when the previous one will be closed. This will allow a new DevCert request from you and from other logged users.

    Important to know!

    - In this forum users can NOT create new threads (New topic), they can only add posts (Post Reply) to request their DevCert.

hope this will help our Beloved Symbian users
