    IBADAN-IN a bid to end the lingering crises rocking the Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, notable chieftains in the party have met to restore its lost electoral value in the state.
    The meeting which was initiated by a founding member of the party, Professor Tunde Adeniran, attracted over 200 party leaders.
    Among those that attended the meeting, according to a statement made  available to Vanguard are the former Governor of the state, Segun Oni,  Mr. Tunji Odeyemi, ex-Speaker of the state House of Assembly and Chief Dapo Alibaloye.
    The statement quoted Prof. Adeniran as saying “The 2011 general elections have come and gone, leaving behind some previously unresolved issues and new challenges with daunting complex.
    We are here primarily as brothers and sisters to put our house in order and chart a new course for the promotion of justice, unity and progress without which we cannot achieve the attainable goals of our partyâ€
