For sometime now, Facebook has been pushing out a lot of new features which are focused majorly on improving the video feature of the Facebook app for Android users. For those who uses the Facebook app for android, am pretty sure you must have noticed that there is no option to upload video in high definition even though this feature has been available for iOS users for sometime now.
Finally, Facebook is now rolling out a new update which will let those using the app on their android devices upload video in High definition. There is now an "Upload videos in HD" toggle right below the option to upload photos in HD. Even though this feature is long overdue, it's a good thing Facebook is finally adding it.

Aside the new support for HD upload on android devices, facebook has also added some other video related features like picture-in-picture video, the ability to choose the exact resolution that you want to upload your video files in and also the option to download videos for offline viewing. This new features are already rolling out so you can head over to play store to check if it's available for your device.
