    Nollywood actress and CEO of Rok Studios, Mary Njoku, recently announced that the film production company will be launching on Sky in the UK on Thursday, September 29th, 2016.

    Looking back on her career to-date and to celebrate Rok Studios’ latest achievement, Mary shared the below photo on Instagram:

    Rok on Sky will be available on channel 344 as a free-to-view channel for all Sky subscribers – that’s around 10 million homes in the UK. Showing awesome originals, such as Single Ladies, Banks Chronicles and Bloodline, as well as some of the most recent smash hit movies, Walking Away, Aso Ebi and Forever.

    It was also revealed that a number of notable Nollywood stars will be joining Mary Njoku and the Rok family at their Gala Launch at 8 Northumberland on Friday, September 30th 2016. Nollywood glitterati, including Patience Ozokwor, Desmond Elliot, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, Alexx Ekubo, John Dumelo, Yvonne Jegede, Emem Isong, Mike Godson, Uche Odoputa, Bobby Obodo, Chioma Akpotha and many more have already been confirmed on the guest list.
