Should We Celebrate Naija @50? Why? Or Why Should We Not? Share your views here..
THE Nigerian economy can be aptly described as an interlocking set of vicious circles
that perpetuate economic stagnation and rural poverty which various governments
since 1960 have been struggling to break away from without success.
This should be a
period for sober reflection.fifty years is not fifty days.all the while,we've had leaders
that are unwilling to develop our dear country and empower the youth despite having ever
y needed resources at their disposal.A whole family on a motor-cycle @50 years of independence
we don't kidnap foreigners any more but ourselves,No law to
check on hyper-population even when it is seen he cant cater for his ever progressive
family,No law enforcement agent to redress the situation....Nigerians are celebrating 50 years of growing poverty, epileptic power supply,able-bodies men turned beggars because
they cannot find jobsgovernment wastage, lack of drugs in hospitals.
nigerian needs 7 days concensus dry fasting to cry to go against the enemy of nigerian before the independence
But all thesame, we should pray, cos i have a dream that Nigeria will be great
Mehn u dey vex oh,but seriously nice nd truthfull wordz
What do you expect? :d
Sorry dude. Nigeria problem is not new to us. Human right and resources sharing for citizenry is swept under rug and people continue dying silently everyday as hungary is not a friendly in nature.
It is not a corse. This is how nigeria will be in the next 50 more years to come. Look @ what NASS is sharing among themselves and Nig. Goverment continue borrowing Money from International body to secure a better life of her people but reverse is the case. Until we all rise from where we sleep to go for revolution. That is the time Nigeria will become great nation to be. Till then: I remain POSSIBLE
Very thought-provoking speech! Hmmm..
@2muchmani. Thanks. That is the truth about Nigeria.
Even though Nigeria is besieged with real problems. Leadership problem is our bane. But inspite of her many problems food has never been missing from most tables at least one gets to eat. We quickly forget the things that tend to divide us. I love this country and i'll do my best to be a good citizen. Never an angry one.
Hmmm. That is how you view it
she is growing no dbout, but with pains caused by her over 150 million children.lets:cherish her, provide for her all her needs, utilize what she has given us properly, love and take what she can offer us,build a better place and protection for her and her children....etc.I guess it will deprive her all pains.
**singing** He's a patriotic person ehh.. patriotic person.. He's a p... ;-)
How are pains caused by the citizens- the over 150million children??
Why should we celebrate 50years of failure
Hmmm. Only GOD intervention can bring meaningful life to every poor man on the street.
25% of national budget is shared among NASS members while Nigerians living under $1 a day.
The margin is clear to us that: our is self - centred
